Rings


Fine Silver Stacking Rings - $12 each 
I finally purchased a ring mandrel and other tools and supplies to be able to make rings! I'm so excited. This was one of the skills I learned in my metalsmithing class, but previously was only able to make them at the OSU Craft Center with their tools.
The pile of plain rings are hammered, stackable rings. I start with fine silver wire, fuse them, hammer and tumble. These small rings (14 ga. wire) are $12 each. They are custom made, so if you'd like to order some, please specify your size.
The second ring (below) is made with heavier gauge fine silver wire, then fused and hammered into shape. These are $15 and somewhat adjustable. All of these rings are available directly from me, from my Etsy shop (www.accentyourself.etsy.com), or at The Art Center in Corvallis, OR.
 

Watch for more ring designs.  My next projects will include a sea glass ring, and some more designs with fine & sterling silver. 

Green Sea Glass Ring

I made a scalloped bezel for this piece of sea glass and soldered it to a wide band. 


Briolette Flower Ring

I made this ring a couple of years ago and gave it to my friend.  This ring is made in the same style as my briolette flower necklaces.


Cobalt Sea Glass Ring

I used a found piece of cobalt sea/beach glass and set it in a sterling silver bezel on top of a sterling silver hammered band.  It is currently one of my favorites!
